We are very happy to welcome Ketley Caroline Rocha Pereira to our group. Ketley joins the Warsaw4PhD doctoral school in our new Opus project. She will be working together with Natalia to develop sensors for biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases.
Ketley joins us from Brazil, where she studied at the Mackenzie Presbyterian University in São Paulo. She did her Master thesis on Laser Induced Graphene electrodes for electrochemical sensors at the MackGraphe−Mackenzie Institute for Research in Graphene and Nanotechnologies.
Having arrived in Warsaw during a cold spell in the end of November, the contrast to Brazil was quite significant. We hope that we can make Ketley feel at home in Warsaw and look forward to doing interesting science together.
