Research Interests:
My current research concerns the development and evaluation of sensors based on transfer of ions across the interface between two immiscible electrolyte solutions in paper-based systems. My main goal is to create a new class of sensors with unique capabilities and simultaneously to overcome the problems with liquid-liquid interface stability. Moreover I would like to bring ion transfer out of the laboratory and into the field or bedside in the home or hospital.
