Making measurements

Last week saw the end of the two-month stay by our IAESTE exchange student from Japan, Yoshitaka Furuya. Yoshi is a student from Tokyo University of Science where he is studying Industrial Chemistry. He was working mostly with Emilia on a project using electrode arrays as an electronic tongue in a microfluidic set-up. It was a quite demanding project and many things went wrong along the way, but Yoshi didn’t give up and managed to get some useful data in the end.

We all wish him the best of luck with his continued studies and hope to see him again some day.
